AHP to Present Free Webinar Series About COVID-19 and Post-Trauma Care

Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. (AHP) trauma experts will present a three-part webinar titled “COVID and Post-Trauma Care.” AHP curated the series for the Danya Institute’s Central East Mental Health Technology Transfer Center, funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Each webinar is free and designed for clinicians, administrators and others who work with youth and adults who may be struggling in this difficult time. Participants can also sign up for separate Communities of Practices sessions where clinicians and share experiences and suggestions related to each specific population.
 
Behavioral health issues have increased during the pandemic, as people are experiencing more anxiety, loneliness and depression. This webinar series discuss the challenges faced by three populations, along with that can help them reach a stable sense of self and confidence. Register today for the December webinar.   • Philip H. Rainer, M.S.W., LCSW-R, a senior program associate at AHP, is highly skilled with more than 35 years of experience focused on clinical social work.
  • Tara Fischer, M.S.W., LICSW, a senior program associate at AHP, has 10 years of experience designing, implementing and monitoring improvements for public sector organizations.
