Deborah Jean Parsons, Ph.D.

Senior Program Manager I
Deborah Jean Parsons, Ph.D., is a senior program manager I for Advocates for Human Potential’s (AHP) Center for Technical Assistance and Training. Dr. Parsons is currently working on the Medication Assisted Treatment expansion and Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure programs. She has more than 30 years of experience in program design, operation, and management. In her career, she has procured and implemented numerous federal and state grants, including multi-million-dollar grants to reduce hospital utilization and integrate primary care, behavioral health, and social services for Medicaid recipients in Massachusetts, and two innovative programs for children, youth, and families that have been nationally recognized. Dr. Parsons is a graduate of Boston College and the Heller School at Brandeis University where she completed her research and dissertation on children’s mental health services.
