Andrew Guy, B.A.

Senior Program Manager
Andrew Guy is a senior program manager at Advocates for Human Potential’s (AHP) Center for Technical Assistance. He has more than 10 years of experience in the managed care industry, with a focus on project management and quality measurement and improvement. Mr. Guy comes to AHP from L.A. Care Health Plan, where he most recently worked as the Behavioral Health Department’s project manager. In this role he administered the Behavioral Health Integration Incentive Program, a 2-year state grant intended to further integrate behavioral health care with primary care throughout California, and oversaw special projects. Mr. Guy has several years of experience leading both internal and external stakeholders throughout the healthcare system to improve healthcare quality outcomes. His lived experience as a person with bipolar disorder, which has made him especially attuned to the needs of people living with mental illness and drives his passion for ensuring dignified and equitable access to care for that population. Mr. Guy graduated with a B.A. in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
