Senior Program Manager
Laurie Curtis, M.A., CPRP, is a senior program manager at Advocates for Human Potential (AHP) providing consultation to behavioral authorities on evidence-based practices and recovery-oriented services. Focusing on adults experiencing serious mental health challenges and co-occurring disorders, Ms. Curtis has accrued expertise in policy and organizational development; clinical, peer, and recovery support services; workforce development; training design and delivery; and multimedia product development and technical writing. Recent work for the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) includes her roles as project director for Recovery to Practice (RTP) and deputy project director and AHP lead for Bringing Recovery Supports to Scale Technical Assistance Center Strategy (BRSS TACS). She trained under Dr. Mary Ellen Copeland to facilitate training on the Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) and has worked with both Dr. Copeland and AHP to develop and update WRAP educational materials.
