Yvonne Raymond, M.A.E.A.

Yvonne Raymond, M.A.E.A., is a consultant for Advocates for Human Potential (AHP). She is passionate about working with underserved communities and developing transformative policies that help individuals be sustainable. Throughout her career, she had the opportunity to develop policies and strategies that enable others to be efficient professionally. On a federal level, Ms. Raymond developed and enforced laws as stipulated by Congress and put systems in place that met the needs American citizens.
 
Ms. Raymond has more than 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, which taught her to be a change agent and advocate for at-risk populations. Some of the projects she has worked on include violence prevention, homelessness, sex trafficking, second-chance programs for recovery from substance use disorders, trauma-informed care, and crisis intervention. Ms. Raymond also conducted a walkability assessment that was developed and implemented into the Chicago Public Schools Safe Passage program, which provided a positive, trusted, adult presence for students as they travel to and from school. Ms. Raymond holds a master’s degree in adult education (training and development) from DePaul University.
