Valerie Barron, M.S.W.

Senior Program Associate
Valerie Barron, M.S.W., is a senior program associate for Advocates for Human Potential (AHP). She is an enrolled member of the Bishop Paiute Tribe and a Tribal Liaison at AHP.  She began her career working in the Social Security Administration in Baltimore, Maryland. She has a proven track record in various roles, including serving as a training and technical assistance advisor at Red Wind Consulting and as an executive assistant at Toiyabe Indian Health Project, Inc. She has also served as a summer enrichment coordinator at Bishop Indian Education Center and as membership and advocacy program coordinator at the National American Indian Housing Council.

Ms. Barron is an active member of her Tribal community, serving on committees and boards such as the Constitution Committee of the Bishop Paiute Tribe and the Educational Multimedia, Inc. board. She holds a master's degree in social work from Washington University in Saint Louis, MO.
