Tracey Bert, M.B.A., is a project operations manager for Advocates for Human Potential (AHP). She is from the Cree and Saulteaux Tribes of Treaty 6 Territory, Canada. She has more than 20 years of experience managing projects for Tribes and Tribal Entities across the United States and Canada. Before joining AHP, she was the project director for the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma’s Tribal Assessment and Planning grant funded by the Federal Health Program for American Indians and Alaska Natives – Indian Health Services. Her role included assessment of the Tribe’s ability to manage and operate a Community Health Aide Program by identifying systemic barriers related to clinical infrastructure, workforce barriers, and needs for training and inclusion of culturally responsive services.
Ms. Bert has dedicated her career to developing new and innovative programs and services for underserved communities. She is driven by a multisectoral approach when working on solutions to socioeconomic problems and uses high-impact strategies to create sustainable economic opportunities, particularly for those who have been most marginalized. She holds a M.B.A from Cape Breton University.
