Tamara (Tam) Mackroy, M.S.H.S., PMEC, Lean 6σ

Senior Project Manager
Tamara (Tam) Mackroy, M.S.H.S., PMEC, Lean 6σ, is a Senior Project Manager at Advocates for Human Potential (AHP). She is also a community advocate, public speaker, and a change agent missionary. Ms. Mackroy is known for being a headstrong transaction strategy and execution leader in the Central Florida community with ties across the United States. She has collectively more than 15 years of experience in supervising programs, managing compliance regulations, and overseeing payer contracts. She has been the face of business development, overseen portfolios netted in the millions, and is an out-of-the-box thinker. She has worked within the nonprofit, government, and healthcare settings.

Ms. Mackroy holds multiple degrees, the highest being her M.S. in human services with a concentration in social policy, analysis, and planning. She is certified in Project Management Essentials and is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified. She also holds certificates in case management services, co-occurring disorders, and is working her way through an addiction counseling program. She uses her certification as an Addictions Awareness Facilitator to teach about drug and alcohol precautions and methods of recovery. 
 
Ms. Mackroy is a member of the Seminole County Chapter for the NAACP and newly elected prison committee chair. She is a member of the Florida Rising-State Leadership Council and the Eatonville Chamber of Commerce. She is a Central Florida legislative liaison for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation and a board member for the Central Florida Alopecia Support Group. She is also a board member and the Governance Committee chair for the Center for Independent Living and a peer mentor for Postpartum Support International. She sat on the SemDems Diversity and Inclusion Committee and is its outgoing secretary. Other accomplishments include serving as past president for the National Organization for Women-Seminole County Chapter and past co-chair for the Alzheimer’s Association (Central & North Florida Chapter) The Longest Day Committee.
