AWS Cloud Engineer

Ross Pollock, M.S., is a AWS Cloud engineer at Advocates for Human Potential (AHP). Mr. Pollock has both academic and professional experience collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large structured and unstructured datasets using modern technology stacks and cloud computing environments. At AHP he works on manipulating raw data into reusable datasets for data visualization and data analysis, along with creating both internal and external facing data dashboards.

Prior to joining AHP, he was an intern at Corning Inc., where he cleaned and processed a large amount of web application data to apply data visualization and machine learning methods to discover usage patterns and user segments. He also held internships at Production Modeling Corporation doing web design and development and Empati Reklam doing graphic design work. He is knowledgeable about modern machine learning methods (supervised and unsupervised) and their application for data mining and predictive analytics. He is experienced in reviewing literature and writing technical data analysis reports in LaTeX. He is proficient in multiple programming languages with a focus in Python, R, and SQL for the compilation, manipulation, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.
