Miranda Faris

Senior Program Associate I
Miranda Faris is a senior program associate I at Advocates for Human Potential (AHP) and serves on the Massachusetts Access to Recovery (ATR) team as the workforce job developer. She partners with Career Building Initiative training initiatives to increase job opportunities for ATR participants. She previously worked for ATR as a co-facilitator with the Paths to Empowerment (P2E) class at the MassHire Downtown Boston office, supporting participants with career readiness and  training pathways. Ms. Faris has also been a self-employed life and career coach, offering services to individuals from all walks of life and at any stage of their career journey. Previously, she obtained a decade of recruitment and job development experience in both the staffing industries and nonprofit organizations that support Boston’s youth with summer job opportunities. She is most passionate about the space where career services and human services intersect, and gets most satisfaction from working with individuals that overcome employment barriers. Equally committed to diversifying the workforce, she is excited to build successful partnerships with employers to carve pathways for ATR participants. She holds certifications in effective communication from UMASS Boston and transformational diversity, equity, and inclusion from the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Faris has also completed coursework in human resources management at Northeastern University.
