Michael Short, M.S., is a senior program manager with Advocates for Human Potential (AHP). He is a seasoned researcher and program manager with more than 15 years of experience in market research, clinical research, and nonprofit management. He has been deeply involved in project/program managing and contracting for multiple government agencies, nonprofit human services agencies, and major pharmaceutical companies.
Mr. Short has content expertise in homelessness and homeless shelter operations, permanent supportive housing, nonprofit board management, policy creation for internal and external stakeholders, case management, data management across multiple system formats, neurological disorders, and intimate partner violence. He is a strong advocate for individuals and families experiencing homelessness and has focused on creating policies and programs that are smart and effective. He holds an M.S. in nonprofit management from Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana.
