Mandy O’Connor, M.A.

Research Associate

Mandy O’Connor, M.A., is a research associate at Advocates for Human Potential (AHP) with more than 10 years of experience working on multiple federally funded projects as part of AHP’s Center for Research and Evaluation and Center for Technical Assistance (TA). She has experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection, evaluation methods and analysis, management of project databases, and reporting of program, treatment, and technical assistance results to government officials and treatment facilities. She is also skilled at managing and coordinating the collection of data for research areas including housing, homeless populations, mental health, substance use disorders and HIV. For AHP, she has helped facilitate the evaluation and coordination of training and TA for health, education, and criminal justice organizations throughout the United States for two large Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration-funded projects. She received her M.A. from the State University of New York at Albany.
