Liesl Martin, M.L.A.

ATR Operations Director
Liesl Martin, M.L.A, is operations director for the Access to Recovery (ATR) program at Advocates for Human Potential (AHP). Ms. Martin directs, leads, and manages the operations of the ATR grant, which provides services to people with substance use disorders throughout Massachusetts. She evaluates current processes and procedures and introduces new concepts and innovations to create the best working environment and the most effective functioning for the ATR team. Previously, Ms. Martin spent more than 12 years in postsecondary education, most recently as the director of regulatory operations and clinical experiences for K–12 teacher preparation programs. In this role, she provided leadership in regulatory operations and educator certification through the assessment, development, and refinement of organizational processes and systems. Ms. Martin is proficient in various data management and assessment systems, Dynamic Forms, and Qualtrics. She is skilled in strategic planning and organizational development used to improve programmatic outcomes, as well as streamlining departmental operations through process developments, budget planning, and implementation of effective communication structures. She has more than 10 years of experience in client/relationship management and compliance reporting with government agencies. Ms. Martin holds an M.L.A. in management with a focus in finance and control from Harvard University Extension School.
