Product Manager - Innovation
Hannah Boyum is a product manager - innovation at Advocates for Human Potential (AHP). She has 4 years’ experience in political communications, specifically making policy easily understandable and accessible to the public. Ms. Boyum mainly works with Cannabis Public Policy Consulting, monitoring potential work opportunities and assisting with regulation development and content. She is also responsible for managing website content development and social media, including building a cannabis-focused resource library for a public audience. Her strengths include project management, communication, writing, and compliance. 
 
Most recently, before her time at AHP, Ms. Boyum worked as a business office administrator and student service manager at Nova Academy of Cosmetology, a Minnesota-based cosmetology school, where she focused on state and federal government compliance. Most notably, she helped secure more than $500,000 of COVID-19 relief aid for the school and was tasked with the creating and implementing an action plan for the academy’s second location, where she was able to completely overhaul their administrative practices and make them compliant with all federal and state regulatory procedures. She also spearheaded the first diversity and inclusion training for the academy, focusing on promoting social equity within higher education. She received her B.A. in politics and government from Ripon College and attended American University’s Washington Semester Program, where she concentrated in foreign policy.
