Brett Hall, M.S.W.

Senior Program Associate II
Brett Hall, M.S.W., is a senior program associate II with Advocates for Human Potential (AHP). She currently serves as lead grantee coach with California’s Behavioral Health Workforce Development (BHWD) Project supporting the Peer Workforce Investment (PWI) and Expanding Peer Organization Capacity (EPOC) efforts to diversify and enhance behavioral health services for individuals and communities throughout the state. Prior to joining the AHP team, Brett spent 10+ years in various nonprofit spaces and gained experience in program management, coalition building, social emotional development, qualitative research, community engagement, training facilitation, and public service. She has content expertise in behavioral health, suicide prevention, social determinants of health, capacity building, leadership development, public policy, restorative justice, and expanded learning. 
 
Ms. Hall is a former AmeriCorps City Year Member, a returned Peace Corps Youth Development Volunteer, and has extensive experience working across different sectors with priority populations. She received both her B.A. in psychology with a minor in sociology and an M.S.W. with a focus in administration and community development from San Diego State University. She also holds an Advanced Certificate in Social Work Administration, a Human Services Management Certificate, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the San Diego Leadership Alliance. Coming from a family of teachers, she is passionate about education and published a study in the Contemporary Justice Review titled “Confronting the Traditional System: A Qualitative Study on the Challenges to School Based Restorative Practices Policy Implementation” (2021). Ms. Hall is a macro social worker dedicated to health equity, social justice, and creating systemic change through progressive policy and service implementation.
