Senior Program Associate I
Andrew Maldonado, M.P.A., is a senior program associate I for Advocates for Human Potential (AHP), where he is providing support in technical assistance to individual agencies and counties for the California Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Project (BHCIP). Before joining AHP, Mr. Maldonado worked as a project coordinator and research assistant for a nonprofit organization committed to enhancing the health of underrepresented communities within California. As a project coordinator, Mr. Maldonado provided technical assistance to grantees by supporting the development of work plans for delivering educational content to underserved communities within San Bernardino County to promote citizen support for anti-tobacco policies. Additionally, his experience in this role includes monitoring and collecting project deliverables, leading focus group surveys, policy research, and creating educational content. He received his M.P.A in urban management and affairs from the University of La Verne.
