What we Do

AHP's eHealth division has aligned itself to the national agenda for Health Information Technology (Health IT) and offers services in areas relating to ambulatory Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and health IT solutions.

For the past several years, our services and team of exceptional consultants have helped complex ambulatory organizations like Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) to transition from paper records to the world of digital medical records. In the current context this can be translated as helping organizations achieve “meaningful use” of EHR systems.

We have worked with all leading EHR systems and Practice Management systems and have a deep understanding of clinical workflows and the different types of payer organizations. We assist organizations throughout the many stages of an EHR project, including conceptualization, RFP preparation, vendor selection, implementation, training, change management, go-live and post go live components like continuous improvement. We incorporate health IT into the reengineered workflows to maximize productivity and achieve enhanced efficiency and clinical outcomes.

We also help organizations to reengineer their workflows to achieve Patient Centered Medical Home Status.

Our expertise in interoperability and health information exchange has also been invited by large system integrators to participate in the Nationwide Health Information Newtwork (NHIN) and related projects, like NHIN Direct where on boarding and understanding of all stakeholders are a critical component to achieve an interoperable national health IT network.
