With six years of experience and training in research to practice, Dr. Davies bridges AHP’s research and technical assistance centers, working to bring evaluation methods into the technical assistance arena while informing research and evaluation through her contact with practitioners and experts in the field. She is the Data Manager and Analyst on the National Evaluation of Rural Domestic Violence and Child Victimization Enforcement Grant Program Special Initiative Pilot Program funded by the National Institute of Justice, an initiative to create and expand domestic violence programming in rural areas, through small, faith-based and community organizations; and the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) Targeted Capacity Expansion grant, Project WAVE, Women Achieving Vital Empowerment, designed to increase substance abuse services for women in rural domestic violence shelters. For the Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA) Grantee Technical Assistance Support for the Office of Performance Review (OPR) contract, she manages the web-based TA request system, develops workflow processes, creates new requirements for system developers, tests system functionality, and trains staff on system functionality. She is also the Lead Evaluator on the HRSA contract and implements the evaluation process and its reporting to assess satisfaction with and impact of Regional and Grantee Technical Assistance.
