TA TO DEVELOP STATE MENTAL HEALTH TRANSFORMATION POLICY AGENDAS TA to Develop State Mental Health Transformation Policy Agendas AHP partnered with prime contractor JBS, the National Governors’ Association, and the National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors to plan and hold four regional meetings regarding mental health transformation. These meetings, Transforming State Mental Health Systems, focused on developing state-level strategies to improve opportunities for recovery for people with mental illnesses. Each participating state sent teams of at least four members to the meetings. National experts and skilled facilitators supported state teams in understanding how mental health issues affect policy priorities across agencies and services, assessing their own mental health systems, and developing a shared vision and plan for transformation.
