Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH)
The Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH) formula
grant program, administered by the federal Center for Mental Health Services
(CMHS), provides flexible, community-based services for people with serious
mental illnesses and co-occurring substance abuse disorders who are homeless
or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Under contract to Policy Research
Associates, Inc., AHP provides on-site technical assistance and other
activities to help states/territories and local providers effectively
operate and monitor the PATH program. PATH technical assistance is delivered
on-site, by national teleconference calls, and by telephone. AHP is versed
in the use of telecommunications to provide relevant and accessible technical
assistance to states and providers. For example, PATH teleconference
calls include a Web-based simulcast. For more information, visit www.pathprogram.samhsa.gov
