Kurt Schweigman, M.P.H.

Senior Program Manager, Tribal Behavioral Health Development Program
Kurt Schweigman, M.P.H., is a senior program manager at Advocates for Human Potential (AHP) for the Tribal Behavioral Health Development Program. Mr. Schweigman has been working in American Indian public health and supportive services for more than 30 years. He has managed various behavioral wellness and participatory research programs that optimize the health and well-being of Native Americans. His current role is within the Behavioral Health Bridge Housing Program and Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Program, both California-based projects. He also assists AHP with a broad range of activities specific to tribal entities. Mr. Schweigman received his Master of Public Health degree in epidemiology, from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. His American Indian tribal affiliation is Oglala/Sicangu Lakota, and he is an enrolled member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe.
