Jenneth Carpenter is currently working on the study of Homeless Access to Mainstream Services, the evaluation of the Oklahoma Mental Health Transformation State Incentive Grant (TSIG), and the evaluation of the Detroit-Wayne County Community Mental Health Agency’s supportive housing and supported employment initiative. Dr. Carpenter’s previous research and evaluation experience ranges from a multi-site evaluation of a federal mental health infrastructure change initiative to local program evaluations and studies of mental health recipients’ needs and experiences related to services. She also has experience in the provision and management of supportive housing and community services. Dr. Carpenter’s research interests primarily center around recipient rights, including housing and community inclusion as well as issues of choice and coercion. She received her Ph.D. from the University at Albany School of Social Welfare and her M.S.W. from Indiana University School of Social Work.
