Timothy Lee, Ed.M.

Senior Director of Educational Consulting

Timothy Lee is a Certified Educational Planner who has guided young people to make informed educational decisions for three decades. Mr. Lee oversees services to all clients at AHP, including independent school clients, college-bound students, those with special needs, and at-risk teens. Before joining AHP, he held positions as associate director of admissions and as placement advisor at two leading New England schools. He was a teacher (English, Latin, and history), dormitory head, and coach, and he tutored students who have learning disabilities.

Mr. Lee graduated from Harvard College and received a master’s degree in adolescent development from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He is a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), New England Association of College Admission Counseling, National Association for College Admission Counseling, and American Institute of Certified Educational Planners. Mr. Lee has been an IECA Board Member since 2001 and has served on the Executive Committee as Secretary Treasurer and Vice President of Ethics and Professional Practices; recently, he completed a two-year term as President.
