INDEPENDENT SCHOOL PLANNING AND PLACEMENT

An independent day or boarding school may be an appropriate choice for your child. At AHP, the personalized nature of the consulting relationship with each student and family means the number of visits can vary based on needs. For a flat fee, AHP will provide the following services:

• In-depth interview with the student and family to assess needs

• Collection and review of educational and personal histories, school records, and educational testing

• Assessment to establish educational and personal goals

• Identification and selection of appropriate schools

• Screening and profiling students with recommended school admission offices to assess goodness of fit

• Development of a timetable for the application process

• Preparation for, and insight into, effective school visits and interviews

• Assistance with application and essay completion

Regular communication with students, parents, and independent school personnel throughout the application process
