TIMOTHY B. LEE, ED.M.

A Certified Educational Planner, Mr. Lee has guided young people to make
informed educational decisions for three decades. Before joining AHP,
he was associate director of admissions for two years and placement advisor
for five years at two leading New England schools. He was a teacher (English,
Latin, and history), dormitory head, and coach, and he tutored students
who have learning disabilities. Mr. Lee graduated from Harvard College
and received a master’s degree in adolescent development from the
Harvard Graduate School of Education. He is a member of the Independent
Educational Consultants Association, New England Association of College
Admission Counseling, National Association for College Admission Counseling,
and American Institute of Certified Educational Planners. At AHP, he serves
independent school clients, college-bound students, and those who need
special needs planning.
SUSAN T. BISSON, ED.M., M.A.

Susan Bisson has worked at AHP since 2001, after leaving a career in
teaching. A member of the English department faculty at Concord Academy
for three years, she was also the academic and administrative leader
of the Freshman English Program and served as a student advisor. In prior
positions, Ms. Bisson taught Latin, worked as a one-on-one writing tutor,
and oversaw several student publications. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa
from Swarthmore College and has two master’s degrees: a Master
of English Literature from the Bread Loaf School of English at Middlebury
College and a Master of Education from Harvard. She is a member of the
New England Association of College Admission Counseling. At AHP, she
specializes in college planning and working with independent school clients.
MARY C. MANSFIELD, M.ED.

Mary Mansfield has more than 20 years of experience in educational admissions
and consulting. Before starting her own educational consulting practice
in 1995, she worked for nine years in the Admissions Office at Wheelock
College and was Director of Admissions from 1993 to 1995.
Prior to her work in college admissions, Ms. Mansfield worked as a career
consultant at a career counseling firm in Boston. Earlier in her career,
she worked as a reading consultant in the Philadelphia schools, a reading
specialist in a Pennsylvania school for children with special needs,
and for three years as an elementary school teacher in Newton, Massachusetts.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Wheelock
College and a Master of Education in Psychology of Reading from Temple
University. She is a member of the Independent Educational Consultants
Association, National Association for College Admission Counseling, and
American Institute of Certified Educational Planners. At AHP, her focus
is on special needs placements.
ALLISON W. MATLACK, M.A.T.

Allison Matlack taught English at Westtown School in Westtown, Pennsylvania,
where she also served as a college counselor, Associate Dean of Students,
dormitory head, and swimming coach. Since moving to the Boston area she
has taught Freshman Composition at a local college and Social Psychology
at the Phillips Academy Summer Session. Ms. Matlack graduated Phi Beta
Kappa from Bates College and received a Master of Arts in Teaching from
Tufts University. At AHP, she will serve independent school clients,
both day and boarding and college planning clients.
