EMOTIONAL
GROWTH SCHOOL PLANNING AND PLACEMENT

Adolescence can be a difficult and trying time for both the student and
his/her family. Emotional, social, and psychological factors can lead
to truancy, low self-esteem, and other behaviors that impede educational
progress. Placement in an appropriate environment that promotes emotional
growth can help the student achieve his/her full potential.
At AHP, the personalized nature of the consulting relationship with
each student and family means the number of visits can vary based on
needs. For a flat fee, AHP will provide the following services:
-
In-depth interview with the student and family to assess needs
-
Collection and review of educational and personal histories, school
records, and educational testing
-
Assessment to establish educational and personal goals, as well as determination
of the need for a full neuropsychological evaluation
-
Identification and selection of appropriate schools
-
Screening and profiling students with recommended school admission offices
to assess goodness of fit
-
